We had a meet and greet on Wednesday night at their ward house, and it was nice to be back there and meet a few people I know. We played a game of ultimate Frisbee with the guys and it was fun. I took a couple pictures of the trees there, which are memorable to me. I also have a strange memory of scouts during the summer, where we were leaving the building and some other boys shot a bottle rocket at us (we were in a car I think; that or on bikes - for some reason I can't exactly remember) and seeing it flash by.
Anyway, here are the trees:
They took out one of those trees earlier this year. I don't know why and I miss it. It was on the lawn by the south door off the main parking lot. I also get the urge to gather the pine cones in the summer when they fall. I haven't done it, but I always feel like I should, just to have some.
